The coal mine in Lening has prominent coal seam with thickness of 5 ~ 5.6m and 2 ~ 2.5m respectively. Coal seam dip angle is between 5 and 12 degrees. The bedding is wavy undulating. The structure of the coal seam is complex and consists of 10 layers, but consists of 4 coal layers with mudstone intercalations. Lower stratification of coal softer, changeable structure.
