In March last year, the State Council issued the Guiding Opinions on Deepening Pan-Pearl River Delta Regional Cooperation. For the first time, the cooperation and development in 11 provinces and municipalities across the Pan-Pearl River Delta (PRD) region will be promoted to the highest level in the economic belt with Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and the Yangtze River Level national-level regional development strategy.
