英国文学源远流长,经历了长期、复杂的发展演变过程,进入20世纪,美国文学日趋成熟,成为真正意义上独立的、具有强大生命力的民族文学。英美文学是对人生体验的文化表征,是对时代生活的审美表现,是英国人民和美国人民创造性使用英语语言的产物。研究英语专业英美文学教学改革思路,对提高英美文学教学与大学英语教学水平有着重要意义。加强英美文学教学,有助于改进我国英语教育,培养高素质人才。
As English literature goes back to ancient times, it has undergone a long-term and complicated process of development and evolution. As the 20th century progresses, American literature has matured and become a truly independent national literature with strong vitality. Anglo-American literature is a cultural representation of life experience, an aesthetic expression of the life of the times and a product of the creative use of the English language by the British people and the American people. It is of great significance to study the teaching reform of Anglo-American literature in English majors to improve Anglo-American literary teaching and college English teaching. Strengthening British and American literature teaching will help improve our English education and cultivate high-quality talents.
