Integrin is a kind of important cell surface receptors, which can recognize the extracellular matrix to mediate the cell adhesion reaction and accept and transduce the cascade signal to regulate the cell survival, motility, proliferation and other biological processes. In the process of embryonic development, inflammation, Wound healing plays an important role. In cancer research, it has broken through its long-standing understanding of its role as a cell adhesion molecule and found to be involved in tumor metastasis. Its role is that it does not depend on growth, survival and motility of tumor-bearing cells through different signaling pathways and associates with serine Proteases and metalloproteases promote tumor cell invasion and angiogenesis. This article reviews the role of integrins in breast cancer metastasis in recent years.
