杨梅,别名山杨梅,属杨梅科杨梅属常绿乔木,为我国特产名优果树,因其果“形如水杨子而味似梅”故称杨梅。杨梅色泽艳丽,甜酸适口,汉司马相如的《上林赋》中把杨梅列入奇果之类。宋代诗人苏东坡有“闽广荔枝,西凉葡萄,未若吴越杨梅”的赞美,在其眼里,吴越杨梅还略胜闽广荔枝一筹。宋代平可正诗云:“五月杨梅正满林,初疑一颗值千金。味方河朔葡萄重,色比泸南荔枝深。”杨梅树性强健,根部因共生放线菌而具固氮作用,在贫瘠之地亦能蓬勃生长,为荒山造林。保持水土的优良树种,有“绿化先锋树”之誉。又因杨
