听了汪坦教授和各位专家学者的发言,在怎样认识中国近代建筑这个问题上深受启发。我是多年从事设计工作的“生产人员”,对于建筑史或史学很少涉及。话说回来,不懂史就深感建筑设计创作水平的提高有难处。与文学及其他艺术的创作一样,建筑的创作素养也未可摒弃历史,只有“Five order”和李明仲《营造法式》也远远不够。到会的同志除多年研究建筑史的学者外,也有不少从事实际设计工作的建筑师,这是可喜的。下面谈谈自己的一点感受。
After listening to the speeches of Prof. Wang Tan and experts and scholars, he was deeply inspired on how to understand modern Chinese architecture. I am a “production person” who has been engaged in design work for many years, and rarely deals with architectural history or history. On the other hand, if you do not understand history, you will find it difficult to improve the level of architectural design. Like the creation of literature and other arts, the architectural accomplishments have not abandoned history. Only “Five order” and Li Mingzhong’s “Building a French” are not enough. The comrades attending the conference have many architects engaged in the actual design work, in addition to scholars who have studied the history of architecture for many years, which is gratifying. Let’s talk about one’s own feelings.
