艺号沙柳,一谓向沙漠上的红柳学习,以微薄之力顽强奉献绿意;二谓曾以家乡沙枣充饥,做知恩图报的人;三谓以铺路砂石作勉,坚持书法创作。沙柳学习书法,既无家传亦无师授,以长期研习楷、隶、行草的名碑名帖,自学成才。“吾以吾心写吾字,无意随风弄狂颠;胸起笔落意为先,放胆天地逐波澜。”这首自创诗是沙柳先生对书法创作的感悟和真实写照。
