四季蒜苗是从山东引种的珍稀奇特的最新蔬菜品种。该作物主产蒜苗或蒜薹,如果利用拱棚或温棚铺盖黑塑膜还可生产蒜黄。与大蒜相比,其形状与普通蒜苗、蒜黄、蒜薹相似,味道基本相同,但不长蒜头,且四季生产蒜苗。四季蒜苗的适应性强,不择土壤,且无病虫害,凡有种大蒜的地方都能种植,既适合春播又可夏秋播种。它长势强,能像韭菜那样收割且复萌多年生长。一次种植可生长8年。四季蒜苗当年育苗移栽后可视其长势割蒜苗,次年春季开始大量生产蒜苗或蒜黄9～10茬。
