新闻摄影是通过静止画面凝固新闻事件的一个片断,具有明显的瞬间性,而这个瞬间是客观事物符合自身逻辑发展过程中的有代表性的“定格”,应当是最具典型性的那一“瞬间”,这也正是新闻摄影的魅力所在。 随着专题摄影和图片故事的兴起,越来越多的摄影者把注意力投向了这里。在处理来稿中我们发现,每天大量的稿件中,专题和组照占了相当大的比例,而这其中,绝大多数的题材根本不适合用专题的形式去表现,甚至适得其反。照片缺乏对于典型瞬间的发掘和提取,致使一个很好的新闻题材在作者贪多求大中白白浪费了,变成了对一个事件简单的客观记录,使新闻价值大打折扣。我曾看过一组来稿,反映一群建筑工人到郊区种菜,为单位建立副食基地的事。本来,这是一个比较好的题材,但作者非要照专题的路
News photography is a fragment of solidifying news events through still images, which has obvious instantaneousity.
