With the development of the globalization, English has become an important tool for China to communicate with the world. It has been used nearly in all trades and professions. Therefore, more and more companies urgently need the people who could not only proficient in their own expertise knowledge, but also could use English to handle with the problems occur in their work. In or-der to recruit such talent people, companies need a test system which can evaluate the peoples English language proficiency from different aspects, such as, listening, reading, writing and speaking. This article is addressed on designing a writing test for such pur-pose.
