沉水樟(Cinnamomum micranthum)属樟科樟属,是一种树形高大雄伟、干形通直、枝叶繁茂的常绿乔木。它的叶片宽大、富有光泽,极富观赏价值。在土层深厚肥沃、水分充足的生境中生长迅速,19年生时胸径可达46cm,树高15m,单株立木材积达1m~3以上。由于沉水樟属自花授粉,雌雄花发育成熟期不一致,因而结实率很低,用作城市园林绿化树种时,这反而成了一个优点——可避免大量的落花落果,易于保持地面清洁。
Cinnamomum micranthum belongs to the genus Lauraceae and is an evergreen tree with tall, majestic stems and straight stems and lush foliage. Its leaves are large, shiny, highly ornamental value. In the deep, fertile and well-watered habitat, it grows rapidly. At 19 years of age, the DBH can reach 46cm, the height of tree is 15m and the stand volume per plant is 1m ~ 3. Cinnamomum is a self-pollination self-pollination, male and female flower developmental maturity is inconsistent, and thus the seed setting rate is very low, used as urban landscaping species, which has become an advantage - to avoid a large number of falling flowers, easy to keep the ground clean.
