当我第一次教女儿使用“谢谢”这个词的时候,她好奇地问我:“为什么要这么说?”“因为这是一种礼节。”“什么是礼节?”“礼节就是各种惯用形式。”我用字典上的解释来敷衍她,然后很快岔开了话题。“大人们的事情,我老是想不明白。”女儿叹了口气,没有再问下去。不过,从那以后,她还是很乖地在各种场合说着“谢谢”。
