The nucleolar organizing region silver staining method (abbreviated as AgNORS) has been introduced into the study of tumor pathology in recent years and is generally considered to be a new indicator of tumor research. However, there are few reports on the application of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. This article uses a nasopharyngeal biopsy paraffin-embedded tissue to apply this technique. A counting study was conducted to investigate the differential diagnostic value of benign and malignant lesions in nasopharyngeal epithelium.
