世纪之交,随着农村教育事业的迅速发展,农村学校教师的内心世界也正在发生深刻变化。办学规模的形成,相互促进,萌生了竞争心理;工资待遇的提高,专人从教,孕育了成就欲望;自学条件的改善,素质提高,诱发了成长志向;文明建设的深入,崇德敬业,焕发出奉献精神。这些都是教师正在发展着的充实的、丰富的、具有生机活力的内在潜能。世纪之交的新教育,尤其是创新教育,是教育发展的新飞跃。无论是教师素质,或是学生素质的要求,其发展目标都是个更新、更高的台阶。面临新的挑战与考验,有相当部分教师居以存在原来基础适应性的差异,而表现为心理闭锁、思维固势、畏难忧虑。如何增强教师对新时期教育新任务的使命感,这是对农村学校校长提出的新课题。为此,校长要有远见的卓识,以爱才的情感,从农村学校教师的实际情况出发,以智能型的用人策略,把教师主体中蕴藏着的智慧才艺潜能催奋为坚实动力,伴随教育发展的快速节奏,迈向新世纪教育的期望目标,开创出农村学校教育的崭新局面。
