今年三月,湖北中医学院和附属医院派出了三十多名医务人员,组织了两个医疗队,分别到公安县农村和南漳县山区开展医疗工作。医疗队遵循毛主席“把医疗卫生工作的重点放到农村去”的教导,怀着对贫下中农深厚的阶级感情,活跃在山区和农村。他们认真执行毛主席的无产阶级卫生路线,为农村医疗卫生事业做了不少工作。在将近五个月的农村医疗工作中,医疗队为贫下中农和其他劳动群众治病一万八千四百八十多人次,为农村培训赤脚医生和妇幼保健员一百八十人,培养提高当地医务人员八十多人。他们大力推广计划生育工作,
In March this year, Hubei Medical College and Affiliated Hospital dispatched more than 30 medical staffs and organized two medical teams to conduct medical work in the villages of Gong’an County and Nanzhang County, respectively. The medical team, following Chairman Mao’s teachings of “focusing medical and health work in rural areas”, is active in the mountains and rural areas with deep class feelings toward poor and poor middle peasants.
