洪水将军是我军历史上唯一的外籍将军,也是世界上少有的两国将军之一,他的传奇一生为中国人民的革命事业和越南人民的独立自由都做出了杰出贡献,而他身上所体现出来的共产党人的无私无畏的革命精神和国际主义品质,永远值得后人铭记和学习。洪水将军曾战斗在我省五台县,并与当地的妇救会主任陈剑戈结为革命伴侣,演绎了一段可歌可泣的跨国情缘。本刊特约我省作家边树堂先生撰文记述这段历史,并介绍洪水将军与陈剑戈的生平,以飨读者。
General Hung Shui was the only foreign general in the history of our army and one of the few generals in both of the two countries in the world. His legendary life made outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Chinese people and the independence and freedom of the Vietnamese people, The selfless and fearless revolutionary spirit and the internationalism embodied by the Communists will always be worth bearing in mind and learning by future generations. General Flood had fought in Wutai County of our province and became a revolutionary companion with Chen Jiange, the director of the local women’s salvation society, performing a marvelous transnational affair. The author of this book, author of our province, wrote a biography of Mr.Ban Shudang describing this period of history and introducing the life of General Flood and Chen Jiange to readers.
