我区多年来一直沿用六六六毒沙防治玉米螟,效果甚差,经试验,用50％甲胺磷乳油10000倍稀释液,每株灌10—20ml,杀虫效果达100％,同样稀释倍数的2.5％溴氰菊酯和20％杀灭菊酯防效分别为94％和90％。 1983年在栖霞县藏家庄镇和中桥乡,用50％甲胺磷乳油8000倍稀释液进行20000亩防治试验示范,对玉米螟防效比六六六毒沙提高45％。 甲胺磷是高毒农药,但稀释8000—10000倍后就比较安全了。施药时,用人工背负式喷雾器顺行前进,遇到玉米螟为害的花叶株,
