第六节折折,顾名思义就是转折。在毛笔书法中,篆书的折主要是转笔;隶书的折主要用折笔,兼用转笔;楷书的折主要用方笔。行书的折画,一种是方折,沿袭楷法;一种是圆笔,没有折锋和顿笔的动作,婉转流畅,一气呵成。米芾的行书作品中的折画方圆并用、形态丰富多变。折画有撇折、横折、竖折等,但在书写时可归纳为方折、圆折两种。
