专题摄影,历来是中外画刊所采用的主要表现形式。近些年来,各大报纸上也纷纷出现一组又一组令人耳目一新、反复回味的摄影专题。专题摄影被广泛采用,而且发展很快,不能不说是摄影文化的一次变革和飞跃。它既符合摄影宣传的需要,又和改革开放的步伐相合拍;既满足了人们不断变化的审美需求,又和自身的特征相吻合。由此可见,摄影,作为一种艺术门类,在完成了由摄影技术到摄影艺术,由摄影艺术到摄影文化的发展、丰富、提高之后,呈现出多彩多姿的形态是很自然的。专题摄影与独幅新闻照片表现有着诸多异同。专题摄影比起独幅照片,除了使人一目了然感觉到的涵盖面宽、容量大、信息多之外,还有一些内在的独特之点。因此,我们在从事专题摄影报道时,必 Thematic photography has always been the main form of expression adopted by Chinese and foreign art galleries.
