铁道部第一工程局是具有综合施工能力的国有大型建筑企业,现有职工42200人,固定资产11.2亿元,在国内500家大型建筑企业中名列前茅。近年来,面对竞争激烈的建筑市场,铁一局党委在全系统广泛开展“热爱一局,争当先进”主题活动,全心全意依靠工人阶级,全局上下励精图治,顽强拼搏,1995年投标揽活20亿元,完成生产经营总额25.3亿元,当年人均劳动生产率达到55689元,职工收入增加20％以上,再度显示了这个“国家队”在建筑行业的风采。
