在世界知名的当代女性艺术家中,苏珊娜·莱西(Suzanne Lacy,1945-)无疑是引人关注的。她是美国的艺术家、教育家和作家,创作多种媒体的作品,包括装置、录像、表演、公共艺术、摄影和艺术书籍等。这些作品都集中于社会主题和城市问题。她曾任职于杰里·布朗(Jerry Brown)的教育陈列馆。杰里·布朗是当时加利福尼亚州奥克兰市市长,也是城市的艺术总监。从她在洛杉矶女性大厦(The Woman’s Building)的女权主义工作室讲习班(The Feminist Studio Workshop)任职开始,就开始设计多种教育项目。
Among the world-renowned contemporary female artists, Suzanne Lacy (1945-) undoubtedly attracts attention. She is a U.S. artist, educator and writer who works in a variety of media including installations, videos, shows, public art, photography and art books. These works focus on social themes and urban issues. She previously worked for the educational gallery at Jerry Brown. Jerry Brown was then mayor of Oakland, California, is also the city’s art director. Starting her assignment at The Feminist Studio Workshop at The Woman’s Building in Los Angeles, she started designing a variety of educational programs.
