今后5年,美国将通过增加和投产大型板坯连铸机,使其连铸比达到65%(1984年为39.6%)。钢厂的情况将是停产与合并,幸存者都将装配连铸机。其他浇铸技术的开发,必须是在提高收得率和节能方面能与连铸技术相匹敌的项目。
In the next five years, the United States will achieve a continuous casting ratio of 65% (up from 39.6% in 1984) by adding and commissioning large-scale slab caster. Steel mills will be out of production and mergers, and survivors will assemble caster. Other casting technologies must be developed to match the continuous casting technology in terms of yield and energy savings.
