《小学英语课程标准》强调:从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导积极参与、合作探究与交流的学习方式,努力发展学生的综合素质和语言运用能力。心理学研究显示:小孩子好奇心重,善于模仿和表现自我,对新事物有着较强的兴趣。可是由于课程的编排的限制,他们学习英语的时间比较有限,这就有待于教师能充分利用各种途径和方法进行教学情境创设,激发学生学习兴趣,挖掘潜能,提高学习成绩。一、挖掘教材内容创设情境
