“富士”系日本１９３９年杂交育成．我所１９６６年由日本引进。经各地试栽观察和多年鉴评，认为“富士”树性强健，适应性广，结果早，丰产稳产，果实中大，淡红色具条纹，果皮光滑，有蜡质，极少裂果，肉质细脆，果汁特多，酸甜可口，具有元帅的香甜和超国光的脆度，品质和耐藏性均优于目前生产上的主栽品种。鉴于我省目前优质晚熟耐藏品种所占比例较少，今年全省苹果良种鉴评会和省果树生产会决定将“富士”作为我省的重点发展推广品种。因立地条件不同果实品质有差异，丘陵山地和海滩河滩沙地果实上色好，果面洁净，风味浓；粘重多湿的平地果色较差，味略淡且易感轮纹病。引种切忌带花叶病的接穗。
