“艺术终结论”诞生于西方语境,是西方对艺术发展所秉持的一种“危机—反思—批判”式的表达及应对模式,这种模式“以破为立”来解决西方艺术困境的基本问题。同样遭遇艺术终结危机,中西方艺术危机中出现了许多相同相似的表征,在西方“艺术终结论”中隐含着可以对中国艺术文化建设提供有价值的视角,能够触及问题的内核。但由于中西方艺术发展语境的错位问题,因此,西方艺术终结论需要经过一个“中国化”的过程。
