According to the materials of the Plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the CPSU in June 1983, the task of the social sciences is constantly increasing in the study of the issue of comprehensively improving developed socialism. The general secretary of the CPSU Central Committee, C. Andropov paid special attention to this issue in his speech to the Central Plenary.
