徐大隆:据我所知,您是宁夏作家群里写作和发表作品时间(始于1999年末)最晚、但又被认为是进步较快的一位青年作家,能否谈淡您这些年的创作历程和心得? 张学东:最近,我在宁夏大学同文学院的一班研究生有一次面对面的交流,主要同学生谈前几年我的文学创作的一些情况。其实,这个话题对作家来说并不轻松,因为既然要谈就得总结一下,不能漫无边际地一味说开去。这一总结才发现,时间过得很决, 那时才二十几岁,血气方刚,小说一篇一篇不停地写,有时候两个晚上就差不多能完成
Xu Dalong: As far as I know, you are a latecomer to writing and publishing work in the Ningxia writers’ group (since the end of 1999), but it is also considered as a young writer who has made rapid progress.
