“西窗书评”的专栏编辑约我写一篇关于《摄影中的杜塞尔多夫学派》一书的书评,我的第一反应是不能写,因为我没有通读这本书的英文文字部分,轻易也不敢碰摄影理论和摄影史的事情,白纸黑字,最怕出错,贻笑大方。第二反应却是感觉有义务和责任去写,不仅因为杜塞尔多夫学派对我影响至深,而且我和他们中的几位艺术家有交往,10年前还做过专访,并以访谈的形式发表在《中国摄影》上,所以便硬着头皮又感情用事地写下这篇短文。
