黄忠祥同志是我们天等县气象站的站长。今年已四十多岁了,高血压病严重,去年住院留医两个多月,医生要他长期休息,待身体康复后再工作。但是,他惦记着工作,病未愈就回站参加值班,预报、测报、农业气象他样样干。去年十月,农业气象组要收割考种,他就带头搞,农气试验点在离站二十公里的县农科所内,由于他病未愈,一坐车就头昏眼花,只好回来休息。春节快到,大家都想回家团园,黄忠祥同志说:“你们去吧,我来顶班”。就这样,春节期间他和另外一个同志一连顶了一个星期的班。春节后不久,由于工作劳累,他昏迷过去,同志们送他到医院时,都流下了眼泪。
