作者认为“神经衰弱”是由于情志的影响、中枢神经系统兴奋和抑制过程功能失调的一种疾病。整个病程可分三个阶段,即(1)内抑制减退,兴奋性相对亢进。(2)内抑制减退,兴奋性相对亢进,但不能持久。(3)兴奋抑制均减退。为此作者将中医中有关头痛、不寐、健忘、惊悸、眩晕、虚劳各证中由于功能失调引起,而排除器质性病变的各种症状体征,按上述三个阶段进行中西医结合分型: 1.肝气郁结,化火扰心型(即第一阶段)。
