In celebration of the 60th anniversary of India’s founding of the nation, Contemporary World Literature launched the column of Indian literature in November-December 2010, introducing a group of native writers and diasporic writers who are active in contemporary Indian literature and selected 60 Indian Independence Landmark works, as well as some famous literary magazines and websites, recommended to readers. The following is an inventory of these works, magazines and websites: Novel, Poetry, Drama Ali (Agha Shahid): The Veiled Suite: Collected Poems, Penguin (2009) .
