The logic function of CHL is realized by injecting current laterally with the switch in the middle collector pnp structure. It achieves high levels of integration, making it easy to implement NOR functions and complex gates, all of which can be placed in a common isolation zone. The CHL is fabricated using a common buried collector process that is compatible with linear bipolar circuits and other bipolar logic families. The current level is used as a logical variable and the conversion characteristics of NOR gates are discussed. CHL improves static and dynamic immunity. This article uses a static divider as an example of a CHL circuit.
