OBJECTIVE: To study the effect of hot and cold cycles on the bond strength of silver-loaded nano-soft lining materials by tensile strength testing. Methods: A-control group: 10 silver-loaded nano-soft liner-resin composites; B-complex old group: 10 silver-loaded nano soft liner- resin composites, circulated 40,000 times in a thermal cycler; C - Base resin aging group: 10 pairs of thermosetting resin block thermal cycler cycle 40000 times, and then with the group A made silver-loaded silver soft lining - 10 resin composite. Results: The tensile strength (MPa) of group A and group B were 4.1554 ± 0.4410 and 3.6622 ± 0.6174, respectively (P> 0.05). The fracture patterns of the specimens were mainly cohesive failure. The tensile strength (MPa) of group C was 2.8839 ± 069309 (P <0.05 compared with group A and B), and the adhesive destruction was the main failure mode of group C. Conclusion: It shows that the thermal cycling has no significant effect on the bond strength of the silver-loaded soft lining material.
