“你要严密监视他的一举一动,一旦发现他有要行刺的迹象,你不能开枪,只能用身体去挡。切不可有半点儿疏忽,要绝对保卫毛主席的安全!”在新中国成立前夕,根据党中央进城后安全保卫工作的需要,专门组建了一支150多人的便衣保卫队。人们称其为“红色便衣队”。队员们在执行安全保卫任务的同时,与领袖们经常接触,学到了很多知识,并亲身经历了新中国成立前后的诸多重大事件。
