HIV infection among young black men who have sex with men (BMSM) in the United States has the highest incidence among all at-risk groups. Two important strategies to reduce the spread of HIV in young BMSM are to increase the proportion of men who are aware of HIV infection and to stick with condoms in sexually active men. But there is very little information to help BMSM conduct HIV testing and promote condom programs. In response to these needs, unidentified HIV infection is assessed on the basis of CDC’s data on young men’s surveys
