为促进中国日益发展的公共交通事业,2007年9月20日,宇通客车与美国铝业公司正式宣布建立合作伙伴关系。双方将应用世界领先的客车结构设计、材料及制造技术,共同开发新一代节能环保公交客车。双方合作的第一步是共同开发一部全新的、可显著降低温室气体排放并提高燃油经济性的客车。样车预计在2008年北京奥运会期间展出。
To promote China’s growing public transport business, on September 20, 2007, Yutong Bus and Alcoa officially announced the establishment of a partnership. Both parties will apply the world’s leading bus structure design, materials and manufacturing technology to jointly develop a new generation of energy-saving bus buses. The first step in the partnership is to jointly develop a new bus that will significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase fuel economy. Sample car is expected to be displayed during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
