前言桉树组织培养和细胞培养技术的成功,极大地显示出林分增产的潜力,随着这一先进技术的普及和提高,将为我国短周期工业用材林基地建设做出巨大贡献。这是完全可以预料的。工业用材林的发展和技术的进步推动了无性系育种和无性系造林的发展;无性系育种为工业用材林提供优良材料,无性系造林为短周期工业用材林的发展奠定了良好基础。1个无性系就是一个基因型,因而有高度的一致性,优良无性系的快速繁殖,是由1个优良基因型发展起来的无数个体,所以表现出遗传性状稳定,林相极为整齐,生长异常迅速。
Preface The success of Eucalyptus tissue culture and cell culture technology has greatly demonstrated the potential of yield increasing. With the popularization and improvement of this advanced technology, it will make a tremendous contribution to the construction of short-period industrial timber forest base in China. This is perfectly predictable. The development of industrial timber forests and technological advances have promoted the development of clonal breeding and clonal afforestation. Clonal breeding has provided excellent materials for industrial timber forests, and clonal afforestation has laid a good foundation for the development of short-period industrial timber forests. One clone is a genotype, and therefore has a high degree of consistency. The rapid propagation of superior clones is a myriad of individuals developed from an excellent genotype, and thus shows a stable genetic trait, a very neat forest, and an unusually fast growth .
