青花瓷是我国古代陶瓷中优秀的品种之一,起源于唐代,成熟于元代,兴盛于明清。青花瓷虽然色泽单一,但是,其隽逸的艺术韵味,深受世界瞩目,是瓷中奇葩。青花瓷是运用天然钴料在白泥瓷胎上进行绘画装饰,再罩以透明釉,然后在高温1300摄氏度左右一次烧成,使色料充分渗透于坯釉之中,呈现青翠欲滴的蓝色花纹,显得幽倩美观,明净素雅。因为釉下钴料在高温烧成后呈现出蓝色,习惯上称“青花”。
