最近,从一则文摘上看到,20世纪世界上发行量最大、读者最多的是《毛主席语录》,国内外总印数达50余亿册。《毛主席语录》中汉字版占绝大多数,此外还译成6种少数民族文字和37种外文。语录体的书在中国古已有之。比如《论语》,就是孔子的语录。但在“文革”中,毛泽东的语录被推到极致,不但书刊上载于卷首,报纸上印于报眼,连私人通信,都要先引一段语录,方才说自己要说的
Recently, we can see from an abstracts that in the 20th century the circulation was the largest in the world with the most readers being Quotations from Chairman Mao and the total number printed at home and abroad is over 5 billion copies. “Chinese Chairman Mao Quotations,” the vast majority of Chinese version, in addition to translated into 6 ethnic languages and 37 kinds of foreign languages. Quotations of the book has been ancient in China. For example, “Analects of Confucius” is the quotation of Confucius. However, in the “Cultural Revolution”, Mao Zedong’s Quotations was pushed to the extreme. Not only the books and periodicals were printed on the front pages, but the newspapers were printed on newspapers and even private correspondence were quoted before they said what they wanted to say
