上海西部地区的低产土壤青紫泥土,地下水位过高,土质粘重,通透性差,作物根系生长不良,产量低。但这种土壤保水保肥力强,潜在养分高,如能在解决排水的基础上进一步改良其物理性状,那对发挥该种土壤潜在肥力,增加作物产量具有重要意义。据了解,本市发电厂的粉煤灰,除少部分用于建筑材料外,绝大部分要用船运到吴淞口外倒入海中,费用很大。据我们分析,煤灰中粒径>0.125毫米的粗颗粒约占75.6%,我们设想以“掺砂子”的方法将其施入粘性土壤,改良土壤物理性质,提高作物产量。64~65年我们曾在松江县金山公社凤凰大队作过此项试验,效果很好,现简介如下。
