Foreign literary works occupy a certain proportion in Chinese textbooks. It focuses on the psychological description of the characters and triggers the readers’ thinking. It is of great significance and value to Chinese learning. Effective teaching objectives, the design of appropriate problems, and active teacher-student interaction are the principles to be followed in the teaching of foreign literary works.
