天然促性腺激素中一些特定氨基酸经化学修饰后可得到超活性的激动剂,后者可迟长促黄体激素(LH)和促卵泡激素(FSH)的释放。另外一些促性腺释放激素类似物却有拈抗作用。这些促性腺激素的激动和拮抗性类似物可能作为男女的生育和绝育药物,已在动物和人体上作了试验。
Some of the specific amino acids in natural gonadotropins are chemically modified to give hyperactive agonists that lately release the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH). Other gonadotropin-releasing hormone analogs have a counterbalancing effect. The agonistic and antagonistic analogs of these gonadotrophins may have been tested in both animals and humans as fertility and sterilization agents for both men and women.
