《老年人权益保障法》是我国历史上第一部专门保护老年人权益的法律,它的制定和颁布实施,标志看我国老年人权益保障工作从此走上了法制轨道。 《夕阳红》栏目曾邀请《老年人权益保障法》起草领导小组副组长张同春同志逐条解释了老年人权益保障法。节目播出后,受到广大观众的热烈欢迎。但最近一些观众反映老年法已颁布四年了,还有不少人不知道我国有一部专为老年人制定的法律,不知道如何运用法律武器来维护自己的合法权益。 鉴于此,我们现设置《学法自助》栏目,分期刊载《老年人权益保障法》,并以问答形式给出必要的解释。在适当时候刊登“普法有奖竞赛”试题,以此庆祝《老年人权益保障法》颁布5周年。答案均出自本刊内容,望读者朋友平时留意,届时踊跃参加。
