近年来,素质教育和创新教育已经成为我国地质类本科教育及后续教育的目标和努力方向。但是,部分教育工作者还存在一些对素质教育认识上的误区,如片面理解“通才教育”和“厚基础”而忽视专业素质培养等,从而直接影响到地质类本科生整体素质的提高,出现教学质量滑坡的局面。我们应当充分认识到全面推进素质教育的实质是“以人为本”的教育理念,在素质教育中重视专业素质的提高和创新能力的培养,培养出符合时代要求的高素质创新型地质学人才。
