法国森林以多样性著称于世。其多样性表现在立地、树种、功能、所有权和产业等多个方面，是自然、生态和人文社会因素长期作用的结果。法国较早地颁布森林法，成立国家森林基金会、地区森林资产管理中心以及林业监察机构，在世界森林恢复过程中发挥了重要示范作用。法国的国家、部门、区域、个体相协调的森林特别保护网络体系及管理方法为各国提供了可借鉴的经验。
The French forest is known for its diversity. Its diversity is manifested in many aspects such as site, species, function, ownership and industry as a result of the long-term effects of natural, ecological and humanistic social factors. Earlier the enactment of the Forest Law in France, the establishment of the National Forest Fund, the Regional Forest Asset Management Center and the forestry inspection agency, France played an important exemplary role in the restoration of the world’s forests. France’s national, sectoral, regional and individual coordination of special forest protection network system and management methods for all countries to learn from the experience.
