This year’s International Conference on Acoustic, Speech and Signal Processing (ASSP) was held in Dallas, United States from April 6 to April 9, sponsored by the ASSP Society of the IEEE and co-organized by Texas Instruments of the United States. About 1,000 people attended the conference, including professors, experts and scientists in 30 countries including the United States, Britain, Canada, France, West Germany, Italy, Romania, Japan and China. The meeting is very rich in content, published about 700 papers, essays four copies, more than the previous session
