An improved method of electron beam recombination for 2.5 MeV proton electrostatic accelerator is described. The focusing system consists of an electron gun, an immersed short magnetic lens and an accelerating tube. The accelerating electron beam is installed with a high-pressure stabilizing accelerator and has a high pressure stability of ± 1%; scan window width of 400 or 600mm. E-beam energy 2.0-2.1MeV, beam current 150μA. Run time has more than 3000 hours.
