Objective To study the characteristics and rules of explosive-induced wounds and to provide some experimental evidences for the early treatment of wounds. Methods The grenade bomb was used to injure the animal by static bomb explosion to test the wounding speed, shock wave overpressure and other injury characteristics. Results After the explosion of explosive weapons, fragments and shock wave were mainly used to injure animals. Conclusion This type of grenade has a serious and complicated biological injury. More than half of the animals died 6 hours after the injury, and the fragment injuries often combined with impact injuries. The incidence of fragmentation and impact injuries were 69.44% and 50% respectively.
