圆柱凸轮的螺旋槽在加工时,需要计算出螺旋槽的导程,当设计图纸给出螺旋线的螺旋角时,可直接用公式L=πDctgβ计算出导程值。但多数情况下,仅按凸轮实际工作情况,给出螺旋槽所占的圆周角和升高量,此时则应根据需要计算其螺旋角。在设计螺旋槽凸轮时,为了防止从动件在行程的始末处产生硬冲击,使凸轮工作平稳,在螺旋槽始端通常设计成圆弧过渡(图1)。这样,加工时不能直接计算出螺旋角。如图1中,从
