2014年10月至2015年1月,为规划综合保护江苏扬州宝应刘堡水闸,扬州市文物考古研究所对闸址进行了清理发掘,清理出明清时期刘堡闸的完整结构,并出土了一批陶瓷器、铁器、钱币等文物,为研究刘堡闸的历史提供了考古学证据。水闸的清理为研究扬州大运河水运、水利的发展变化提供了重要参考。
From October 2014 to January 2015, in order to plan the comprehensive protection of Baoying Liupu sluice in Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, Yangzhou Institute of Cultural Relics and Archeology cleaned up and excavated the gate site to clear out the complete structure of Liupu gate during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and unearthed A number of artifacts, ironware, coins and other artifacts provide archaeological evidence for the study of the history of Liu Fort gate. The sluice cleaning provides an important reference for the research on the development and changes of water transport and water conservancy in Yangzhou Grand Canal.
